  • Composting Techniques: Studying organic soil amendments by comparing conventional composting (such as the four-pit method measuring 1.2m x 1.2m x 1.2m) with innovative methods like vermicomposting (using earthworms) and containerised composting for urban spaces. Learners practically construct compost piles using organic waste, topsoil, ash, and water, monitor decomposition indicators, and apply mature compost to garden crops.
