  • HADITH (Weeks 1-4)
    • Hadith on: obedience
      • Define the term obedience and discuss ways children obey their parents.
      • Identify actions that annoy Allah (SWT) and discuss teachings of the Hadith.
      • Recite what gives Allah pleasure and anger according to The Prophet (SAW).
      • List school rules observed and appreciate the importance of obedience in school.
      • Recite Quran 4:59 and discuss the importance of the Hadith of Obedience in shaping lives.
    • Hadith on: Cleanliness
      • State what Islam teaches regarding cleanliness and interpret the Hadith in English.
      • State the number of verses in the Hadith and recite it as an act of worship.
      • Name items used in personal cleanliness and maintain personal hygiene for healthy living.
      • Identify the dos and don'ts of cleanliness and discuss activities of ibadah.
      • Identify good and bad hygiene practices and brainstorm the importance of cleanliness.
  • DEVOTIONAL ACTS (Weeks 4-7)
    • Pillars of Islam
      • Define devotional acts and recite the five pillars of Islam in order.
      • Identify the number of pillars and memorize them using a song.
      • Pronounce correctly the five pillars and match pictures with correct terms.
      • Pronounce and describe the Shahadah as an act of ibadah.
      • Recite the Shahadah in song and discuss its importance as a basic principle of Islam.
      • Spell correctly the pillars of Islam and trace, colour, read, and recite the Shahadah.
  • MORAL TEACHINGS (Weeks 7-12)
    • Islamic etiquettes
      • Islamic Greetings: Respond appropriately to greetings, interpret their meanings, identify good deeds, and recite the Prophet's Hadith on manners of greeting.
      • Manners of eating: Define Bismillah and Alhamdulillah, identify the right hand for eating, learn the steps to take before eating, and identify habits to avoid.
      • Manners of drinking: Recite the prescribed dua before and after drinking, and practice Islamic manners of drinking.
      • Islamic phrases: Identify the meaning and describe appropriate situations to use phrases such as Jazakallah khayr, Masha Allah, and InshaAllah.
