The schemes of work cover a total of 13 weeks. The last two weeks (12-13) are scheduled for revision and end term two examination. Mid-term break is scheduled at Week 6. Even if half term break is rescheduled since the government may have a change of plans, the teacher can always flexibly swap between weeks to account for when the actual mid-term break is provided.
The remaining ten weeks are dedicated for active learning. Each active learning week has a total of four Integrated Science lessons. The strands covered include 'Mixtures, Elements and Compounds' (16 lessons) and 'Living Things and their Environment' (24 lessons).
The reference book used is Spotlight Integrated Science Learner's Book Grade 7. For each lesson, specific reference to page numbers in this book makes the schemes of work easy to use.
