• Description:

  The 1-page MS Word document comprises Form 1 English End Term 3 Exam with Marking Scheme 2024. There is a separate 1-page MS Word document for the marking scheme. The PDF versions of the documents are also available upon your request. The exam paper and its marking scheme/answers were prepared by a high school English teacher who is also an experienced KNEC examiner. 

  The exam paper is structured as follows:

  • Functional writing (20 marks)
  • Cloze test (10 marks)
  • Comprehension (20 marks)
  • Oral Skills (10 marks)
  • Oral literature (20 marks)
  • Grammar (20 marks)

  Therefore, it is marked out of a maximum score of 100 marks. Learners are required to take a maximum of 2 hours to finish the exam.
