  The PDF document comprises Grade 7 Rationalized CRE Curriculum Design.

  This curriculum design is developed by the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) to guide the implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) at the Junior School level. It was first published in 2022 and revised in 2024 following recommendations from the Presidential Working Party on Education Reforms (PWPER) and stakeholder feedback.

  The design also includes national goals of education, general and specific learning outcomes, suggested learning experiences, key inquiry questions, core competencies, values, pertinent and contemporary issues (PCIs), assessment rubrics, learning resources, and Community Service Learning (CSL) integration guidelines.

    • 3.4 Leadership in the Bible: Moses – 7 lessons
  • Strand 4.0: The Early Life of Jesus Christ
    • 4.1 Background to the Birth of Jesus Christ – 6 lessons

  The curriculum equips learners with Christian values, life skills, and ethical decision-making abilities to enable responsible behaviour, positive relationships, environmental stewardship, and active participation in church and society.
