The curriculum design also outlines subject general learning outcomes, key inquiry questions, suggested learning experiences, core competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, communication and digital literacy, values integration, and Pertinent and Contemporary Issues (PCIs) including environmental conservation, health promotion, safety, and climate awareness.
Additional components include assessment rubrics, suggested learning resources, non-formal learning activities, and an integrated Community Service Learning (CSL) project to support practical application of scientific knowledge in real-life and community contexts.
