  The content is delivered through thematic areas such as Viungo vya Mwili vya Ndani, Michezo, Mahusiano, Misimu, Mshikamano wa Kitaifa, Usawa wa Kijinsia, Majanga na Kinga, Wanyama wa Majini, Afya ya Akili, Kukabiliana na Ugaidi, and Ushuru.

  The curriculum design also outlines subject general learning outcomes, core competencies, values integration, Pertinent and Contemporary Issues (PCIs), suggested learning experiences, key inquiry questions, assessment rubrics, suggested learning resources, non-formal learning activities, and a Community Service Learning (CSL) component to support practical application of language skills and preparation for transition to Junior School.
