  The curriculum design emphasises experiential and hands-on learning to help learners explore their immediate environment and develop appreciation for environmental conservation, health, safety, and sustainable living. It also provides detailed performance-based assessment rubrics, integration of values and pertinent contemporary issues such as health promotion, disaster risk reduction, environmental conservation and climate awareness, as well as suggested resources including locally available materials, digital tools and community-based learning experiences.
